A little about me

Hi, I’m Casey.

I’ve spent more than a decade working in the wellness industry, both out front and behind the scenes.

Over the years, I’ve run my own yoga studio, managed teams and training programmes, coordinated international retreats, managed residential wellness and corporate events at an Irish event venue, and supported yoga, Pilates and wellness businesses with the many projects and systems that keep things running behind the scenes.

And I know how quickly the list grows when you’re running a small business.

There’s the work you actually started the business to do — and then there are the newsletters, timetables, systems, brochures, folders, social media posts, events and half-finished projects competing for your attention.

I created Alongside for independent teachers and small wellness businesses that don’t necessarily need an agency or another employee.

Sometimes you simply need an experienced extra pair of hands — someone who can understand what you’re trying to do, step in where needed and help make the load a little lighter.

That’s where I can help.

Why Alongside?

Things are often a little easier when we don’t have to carry them alone.

I believe in working alongside people rather than telling them how they should run their business. You know your business. My job is to listen, understand what you need and help with the things I can take off your plate.

No unnecessary jargon. No rigid processes. No one-size-fits-all way of working.

Human to human.

But Alongside is also about something a little bigger than work.

It’s a reminder that being human isn’t a race. We don’t always need to be racing ahead or worrying that we’re falling behind. Sometimes we can simply walk alongside — alongside each other, our communities, technology, nature and the changing world around us.

Alongside will grow and change, just as I will.

For now, it’s a place where I can use what I’ve learned to help make someone else’s workload a little lighter.

We carry things better together.
